“Déjame Flotar” came about during the recording of a project between La Mari and Emilio Aragón.

In one of the studio sessions, Emilio told La Mari that he had an idea, “a catchphrase” for Bebo San Juan’s next album.
It only took 15 seconds of the idea for La Mari to tell him that she wanted to participate in the song.
Ten days later, Emilio decided that this would be Bebo San Juan’s gift to La Mari to celebrate her 20 years in music.
